Accessibility of online material

Accessible online services should be as accessible as possible for all people. This means that the online service must be easy to navigate and that the content is understandable and accessible accessible through a variety of assistive technologies. The SAMK Library offers a range of online resources such as books, journals, articles, databases, theses and course materials. The accessibility of these resources varies.

Accessibility of ebooks is essential for print-disabled persons, but accessibility features are beneficial for everyone.

Screen readers are software programs that allow blind or visually impaired users to use their computer. To be able to listen to an ebook, you also need an accessible ebook.

Various aids are available for reading many higher education books.
