You can pay online on SAMK-Finna or by card at campus libraries in Pori and Rauma.

Requests

Placing a request for an item in the collection of SAMK Library: free of charge

Fines for overdue items for SAMK students and visitors

Fine after an item has been returned or the loan renewed after the due date: 0,20 € / day / item

Maximum fine per an individual loan: 20 €

Fine will be charged also in the case when a customer has not received the messages from the library or has not been able to log in the online library.

The overdue fine is added to the library account when the overdue item is returned or renewed.

Losing and regaining the borrowing right

The customer will lose the borrowing right, if they have unpaid fees of 20 € or more. The borrowing right can be regained when the borrowed items have been returned or paid for and fines or other payments made.

Replacement of items

A lost or damaged or not returned item must be paid for according to the purchase price, which is at least 40 € and the costs of collecting debts. If agreed, the replacement can be carried out by purchasing a new, corresponding item and by paying the costs caused by collecting debts.

A loan or copy ordered from another library that the customer does not collect: 5 €

Foreign interlibrary loans and interlibrary copies: 40 € / item

A sent interlibrary item or copy: 10 € / item

Information service for visitors

Information searches conducted and personal guidance and counselling given by library personnel (min. 30 minutes): 50 € / h (incl. VAT)

Guidance (max. 30 minutes): free of charge

Independent information search at the library: free of charge
